Position Title: Community Support Worker (Aged Care)Location: Statewide TasmaniaEmployment Type: Permanent, Part TimeClassification: Level 23 | Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre Enterprise Agreement 2025Hours: Negotiable About the Role The Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre (TAC) is seeking committed and respectful Community Support Workers (Aged Care) to support Aboriginal Elders through our Support at Home Program. This role provides culturally safe, inhome and communitybased support that promotes independence, wellbeing, cultural connection and quality of life, enabling Elders to remain safely and meaningfully connected to their homes and communities. Key Responsibilities Deliver culturally safe, personcentered support aligned with individual support plans Assist with personal care, mobility, domestic tasks and meal preparation Support Elders to access community, social, cultural and health activities Promote reablement, independence and wellbeing Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to safe service delivery Work respectfully with Elders, families, carers and the broader care team About You You are caring, reliable and respectful, with a genuine commitment to Aboriginal selfdetermination and culturally safe practice.
