Lead a specialist occupational health team across transport rail, maritime and road sectorsDirect advisory role to executive leadership on critical health and safety mattersIn this role you''ll: Lead the development of occupational health systems and governance frameworks across Transport, focusing on drug and alcohol programs, fatigue management and fitness-to-work assessments Manage and mentor a specialist occupational health team, building their capability to deliver evidence-based health services across Australia''s largest infrastructure program Provide expert occupational medical advice on complex cases, including drug testing protocols, prescription medication impacts and fitness-for-duty determinations Plan, coordinate and audit occupational health service delivery, including health surveillance, train health professionals and investigate occupational ill health cases Partner with project teams to implement robust health systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with evolving WH&S legislation while protecting workforce wellbeing For more information on this position and business unit, please view the role description and information pack.About you:You''re a registered Medical Practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency(AHPRA), holding Fellowship (or eligibility) with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (AFOEM). Your comprehensive knowledge of Australian WH&S legislation, drug and alcohol testing, fatigue management and fitness-for-duty protocols, positions you as a trusted advisor.You excel at translating complex medical information into practical workplace solutions while managing competing priorities in dynamic environments. Your leadership skills inspire and develop high-performing teams, and you''re passionate about building capability in others.With strong analytical capabilities, you continuously improve health systems and processes based on evidence and research.
