Youth Worker Mandurah Peel Health Hub andWinjanAboriginal Corporation Fixed term Full time - 76 hours per fortnight, Monday Thursday 12:00pm to 8:00 and Friday standard hours 8:30am -4:30pm. We offer specialised services in alcohol and other drug treatment, mental health, and wellbeing, through counselling, group support, residential rehabilitation, and educationreaching communities across the Perth metro, Peel, South West, and Great Southern regions. As a Youth Worker in our Dayhab program, you will play a key role in delivering structured rehabilitation activities, providing case management, and supporting ongoing program development. Working with a high level of autonomy, applying your expertise to assist young people in achieving their recovery goals while ensuring the program aligns with best practice standards. This role is classified at Level 4 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010. This role requires confidence, compassion, and a steady presence. Working alongside vulnerable individuals means facing complex situations, high emotions, and occasional setbacks. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria: Tertiary or equivalent or relevant qualifications in youth work, social, behavioral or health sciences Proven ability to work independently, managea caseload, and make sound decisions within policy frameworks. Ability to be creative and flexible with innovative approaches to work with youngpeople A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle isrequiredfor thisrole Experience Working with Younge People Ability toestablishrelationships effectively with a range of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a respectful and culturally secure way.
