We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to continue our recent growth and continued presence within the thoroughbred industry. This role is primarily responsible for new client procurement and identifying business opportunities across all sectors of the thoroughbred industry. Ideally suited to an experienced industry professional with strong knowledge of the Australian thoroughbred racing and breeding landscape, the successful candidate would report to Stud Management and be joining an established and proven team. Key Responsibilities include: Implementing strategies to increase numbers across broodmares, spellers, and sales preparation drafts, and the promotion of all farm services. Actively source new clients including breeders, trainers, owners, agents, and syndicators. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Representing the farm at major sales, race meetings, and industry events to promote the business and generate leads. Assist with marketing, inspections, and on-farm client visits, keeping clients updated through effective communication. Essential Skills & Experience required: In-depth knowledge across all facets of the thoroughbred industry. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset. Ability to work independently and be able to travel as required.
