This role plays an important part in ensuring that Nepean Hospital maintains strong governance, compliance, and operational efficiency through the proper management of records and information systems.In this position, you will coordinate corporate records management functions associated with the organisations approved Electronic Document and Records Management System (eDRMS). You will support consistent and effective use of the system across the hospital by maintaining records structures, managing user access and security permissions, and supporting the ongoing administration of the records management framework. For more information, please click hereChild Safe Standards.For assistance with applying through the NSW Health Career Portal pleaseclick here.What you will bring to the roleExtensive knowledge, skills and experience in the use of eDRMS (such as Content Manager), including file structures, classification schema, and security and access functions.Demonstrated flexibility and drive with the ability to work unsupervised, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines, and high level analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, initiative, sound judgement and a positive attitude.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to enable provision of procedural advice to management and staff.Ability to prepare well-written and accurate procedural manuals and instructions and the ability to use appropriate software (e.g. Microsoft 365 applications).Demonstrated ability to analyse and apply the requirements of the State Records Act 1998 and associated records management standards including sound understanding of rules and procedures for records classification, control, appraisal and disposal (including sentencing, culling, retention and disposal authorities, destruction and custody transfer processes) in NSW.Experience in the management of records in both paper based and electronic environments and implementation of classification schemes and disposal tools.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a willingness to enroll and obtain this qualification; combined with demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of training programs.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement scheduled routine audits and compliance checks, implement corrective action and escalate issues requiring intervention.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.Need more information?1) Click here for the Position Description2) Find out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Eamon Lenihan on
