About the role As the Pet Crematorium Driver/Consultant at Pets Eternal, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and professional care to pet owners during their time of need. This full-time position is based in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, and involves transporting the deceased pets of our clients to our state-of-the-art crematorium facility. What you''ll be doing Sensitively collecting and transporting deceased pets from veterinary clinics and private residences to the crematorium Assisting pet owners with the cremation process and providing guidance on options and procedures Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to each pet cremation Ensuring the crematorium facility and equipment are well-maintained and in compliance with all relevant regulations Liaising with veterinary professionals and pet owners to provide exceptional customer service Supporting the broader operations of the pet crematorium as needed What we''re looking for Demonstrated experience in the funeral services or pet care industry, with a deep understanding of the sensitivity and compassion required when working with grieving pet owners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic support to clients during a difficult time Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to procedures A valid driver''s license and the ability to safely operate a vehicle to transport deceased pets Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work outside of standard business hours as needed A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest level of care and respect to pets and their owners What we offer Competitive salary Ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth A supportive and collaborative team environment with a focus on work-life balance The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pet owners during a difficult time About us Pets Eternal is a leading provider of pet cremation and memorial services, serving the Burleigh Heads and surrounding communities.
