About the Role As Team Leader Border Operations, you will lead a team of field-based officers, coordinating operations at saleyards and on properties, ensuring compliance with treatment regimens, and investigating non-compliant activity. You will act as a key point of contact for industry groups, stakeholders, and internal teams, contributing to the Departments strategic biosecurity objectives. What Youll Do Lead and manage a team in the response and surveillance of cattle tick infestations across NSW. Oversee audit and verification programs to monitor compliance with treatment requirements. Provide clear, timely, and accurate advice to stakeholders, industry partners, and emergency response teams. Collaborate with compliance officers and other operational units to ensure consistent and effective regulatory outcomes. Deliver high-quality reports, briefings, and recommendations to support decision-making by management and executive teams. About You Proven experience in compliance and enforcement within a regulatory environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, conflicting priorities, and rapidly changing situations. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities. Certificate IV or higher in Government Investigations is highly regarded. Essential Requirements Ability to travel throughout NSW and interstate, and work outside normal hours when required. Current Class C NSW Drivers Licence. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding NSWs cattle industry while developing your leadership and regulatory expertise.
