Process, pack and sterilise reusable instruments in line with AS/NZ 4187 and local policies Collect, receive and reprocess contaminated medical equipment and devices Operate sterilising department equipment including washer disinfectors, sterilisers and ultrasonic cleaners Conduct routine testing, cleaning and documentation of sterilising equipment and report faults Deliver sterile instruments to clinical areas and communicate with staff to meet service demandsThis role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise urgent workloads, and a commitment to maintaining safe and compliant sterile services that support quality patient care.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential Criteria: Qualifications:Sterilisation Services Certificate IIISelection Criteria:1. Certificate in sterilising services and experience in working in a Hospital Sterilising services department one year or more2. Sound understanding and Knowledge of infection Control requirements, Standards AS/NZ 4187 and ISO in a health care setting3. Demonstrated communication skills including Verbal, Written and interpersonal abilities4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and busy environment with changing priorities and work demands5. Knowledge and understanding of WH&S legislation and Manual handling techniques to maintain safety in the workplace6.
