Customer Service & Administration AssistantRegional Appliance & Electrical ServicesFairy Meadow, Wollongong, Illawarra & South Coast NSWFull-time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am4:00pm Regional Appliance & Electrical Services is a locally owned and operated Illawarra business with a strong reputation for honest, dependable service. Established in 1998, we have been supporting domestic and commercial customers across the region for over 25 years. We are currently seeking a Customer Service & Administration Assistant to join our team in our Fairy Meadow office. This is a busy and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and can confidently manage competing priorities. The role will involve supporting both customers and technicians and would suit someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for customers while helping keep office operations running smoothly. About the roleIn this role, your duties will include: Creating, booking and coordinating service jobs Taking customer phone calls and assisting with enquiries Managing shared email inboxes Following up customers regarding quotes, approvals and bookings Providing general administrative support to the office Liaising with customers and technicians to assist with day-to-day coordination About youTo be successful in this role, you will have: Previous administration experience preferred Previous customer service experience preferred Confidence speaking with customers over the phone Good computer skills Strong attention to detail A friendly, professional and confident manner Strong verbal and written communication skills The ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Professional phone and email etiquette The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative The ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities in a busy office environment Experience with Simpro and parts interpretation would be highly regarded, but is not essential.Previous administration and customer service experience is preferred, however we are open to the right person who is willing to learn.
