About the role The Manager Procurementis responsible formanaging asmall teamandproviding expert strategic adviceand delivery to ensureprocurement planning, development and sourcingdeliversscalable and responsive service outcomes that enable corporate goals to be achieved and compliancewith government procurement requirements and standards. About you The ideal candidate willdemonstrate: Must be a current NSW Public Sector employee Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field Proven experienceprovidingstrategic procurement advice in complex, multifaceted environments with competing priorities Strong knowledge of contemporary procurement frameworks, government requirementsand use ofapplicablesystems,governanceand risk management practices, with the ability to apply them pragmatically Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with confidence advising senior leaders and working collaboratively across diverse teams Demonstrated capability leadinghighvalue, complex negotiations and managing challenging supplier relationships to achieveoptimaloutcomes Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and insights to inform planning,decisionmakingand performance improvement Model and promote a high-performance culture, fostering professionalism anda collaborative team environment About the NSW Reconstruction Authority The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premiers Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
