As part of this established and highly regarded model, you will be allocated an annual caseload of women and supported by a dedicated team of midwifery colleagues, providing 24-hour care within a structured on-call roster.This autonomous and professionally rewarding role enables you to manage your own workload and time while building meaningful, beneficial relationships with the women in your care. You will lead and coordinate comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal midwifery services, undertaking assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care. Your practice will promote collaborative, equitable and woman-centred care, empowering women to achieve their individual pregnancy and birth goals.Focused on each womans unique needs, expectations, and aspirations, you will practice at an advanced midwifery level to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes for women and their families. For further details about this exciting opportunity, please refer to the Position Description.Are You the Right Fit?Specific Skills & Qualifications/Role requirementsUnrestricted registration as a midwife with AHPRA.Availability and capacity to work and participate in an on-call, (24 hour per day/7 day per week, 52 week/year coverage) roster across the continuum of care that includes pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period as specified in the NSW Pilot Annualised Salary agreement.Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) and willingness to travel in the course of employment.Minimum 1 year of clinical practice as a registered midwife within the last year.
