In this role, youll be out on-site completing calibrations, maintenance, fault-finding and installations on everything from belt scales to pressure, flow, temperature and level instruments. Every day is different, and youll be supported by a team of experienced techs who genuinely help each other out. With mostly Monday to Friday scheduling means your weekends are usually yours, giving you more time for family, mates, hobbies and the things that matter most. You still get the variety and site exposure of a FIFO-style role, but with a more predictable rhythm to your week. Key Responsibilities: Get hands-on with real instrumentation work installing, commissioning, maintaining, and calibrating a wide variety of instruments: pressure, level, flow, temperature, density systems, bulk weighing gear, control valves the whole lot. Play a key role in shutdowns youll start on the tools, but theres quick progression into leading hand and even supervising shutdowns once youre ready. Build and maintain quality gear assembling control panels, installing tubing, completing hazardous area inspections, and keeping calibration equipment in top shape. Support our clients properly helping with instrument selection, fault-finding, troubleshooting weird issues, and keeping calibration records accurate and tidy. Required Qualifications: Cert III/IV in Instrumentation WA Electrical or Restricted Electrical License with Instrumentation background. WA C Class Open Driver''s License. 2+ years of experience in Instrument Calibration, Fault Diagnosis, and Commissioning, ideally in heavy industry (mining, petrochemicals, power). Additional qualifications: EEHA, EWP, Confined Space, LR/HR Licence are advantageous.
