Everyone plays here Two-year, Temporaryfull-time opportunity Hybrid role -Sydney Olympic Parklocation Clerk Grade9/10-Salary ranges from $129,464to $142,665+ super& leave loading The role The Facilities and Business Services Coordinatorplaysa key role in ensuring the Office of Sports workplacesoperatesafely, efficiently and in line with NSW Government standards. The role oversees property,facilitiesand business support services across multiple sites, providing strategic coordination of office accommodation, fleet operations, sustainability reporting, insurance portfolios,procurementand contract governance. Leading a small multidisciplinary team, the positiondrives operational excellence, manages recurrent and capital budgets, and partners with stakeholders to deliver compliant, customerfocused services that support organisationalobjectives. Responsibilities Coordinate property,facilitiesand accommodation services across all sites, including leaseadministration, facility management contracts and managing agent relationships, ensuring safe,efficientand customerfocused service delivery. Drive strong contractor performance, compliance and valueformoney outcomes while ensuring operational safety and service quality. Oversee fleet operations by ensuring effective policy implementation,accuratefinancial and systems management, robustreportingand responsive user support. Lead wholeofgovernment sustainability and energy reporting requirements (e.g., NZGO, GEAR) and support the implementation of related sustainability initiatives. Manage insurance and risk portfolios, including the Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) and iCare, ensuring effective claims management, riskminimisationandtimelycompliance. Oversee facilityrelated operational services, including office supplies, security access and ID systems, mailservicesand staff/tenant service requests. Monitor and manage recurrent and capital budgets for facilities and operational services, ensuring financial accuracy, varianceanalysisand reporting to senior leadership. Lead procurement, operationalimprovementand communication activities, including wholeofgovernment energy contracts, sustainability and efficiency initiatives, and facilityrelated updates (e.g., SharePoint content and staff communications). Lead and develop a team of three by setting clear expectations, providing regularfeedbackand fostering a safe,inclusiveand wellbeingcentred work environment. About You You are an experienced facilities or property professional who thrives in a dynamic, multisite environment and brings strong judgement, organisationalcapabilityand a commitment to safe, compliant operations. You understand NSW Government procurement, contract management and financial processes, and you use data,planningand stakeholder engagement to deliver highquality outcomes. You are a confident communicator who builds productive relationships, leads teams with clarity and care, and contributes to a positive,inclusiveand customerfocused workplace.
