This position provides assistance and support to their Allied Health Department in the delivery of services to patients / clients, under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional. The role involves assisting Allied Health Professionals in the treatment of patients, equipment cleaning / room tidying and departmental administrative responsibilities. The Allied Health Assistant may be expected to work across sites and participate in weekend work. Salary Level is dependent on qualifications: Level 1 No Qualifications; Level 2 Completion of 12 or more months service as an Allied Health Assistant Level 1 or Certificate III or other qualification deemed equivalent; Level 3 Certificate IV qualification or other qualification deemed equivalent For more information and to view the position classification, see the Position Description here.
