Grinder / Machinist / Fitter & Turner Afternoon Shift Location: Pakenham | Brand New Purpose-Built Facility Hardchrome Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Grinder / Machinist / Fitter & Turner to join our growing team on a permanent shift roster. We are specialists in surface engineering and precision hard chrome applications, servicing high-profile manufacturing and heavy engineering industries. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills while working with specialised equipment in a modern, purpose-built facility. About the Role Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for precision machining and grinding operations, with a strong focus on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Operating cylindrical grinding machines with tight tolerance machining Minimum 1-2 years of cylindrical grinding experience preferred Chrome grinding experience beneficial (training provided if required) Reading and following job sheets, drawings and procedures Completing required production and quality documentation Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Working independently and as part of a team to meet production targets About You Trade qualified Fitter & Turner / Machinist (or equivalent experience) Strong attention to detail and presentation Good planning and organisational skills Safety-focused mindset Reliable with a strong work ethic Able to work permanent afternoon shift Australian citizens or permanent residents only What We Offer Permanent full-time position Modern, purpose-built facility Supportive team environment Ongoing training and skill development Stable and growing company If you''re motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to take the next step in your machining career, we''d love to hear from you.
