The Opportunity We have several part time positions (up to 30 hours a week) available for highly organised and patient focused receptionists to join our busy collection centres. These are frontline roles that are critical to ensuring a smooth patient journey and supporting our collection staff. Working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, you will be responsible for managing patient interactions, administrative processes and supporting our collection team to delivery high quality diagnostic services. Day to Day duties include: Promote and display our values at all times Receiving and triaging patients in a professional and caring manner Manage appointment bookings and walk in workflows Handle Medicare and billing processes with sensitivity and accuracy Process pathology request forms and ensure completeness of information Coordinate with collectors, and couriers to support workflow Always maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information Support general administrative duties including filing, scanning and data entry Applicants should possess the following: Experience in a customer service environment Superior written and communication skills Strong numeracy and analytical skills as well as computer literacy Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi tasks and prioritise in a high-volume setting Proficiency with computer systems and data entry Availability between the hours of 7:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.
