Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer (Part-Time) Condong | 34 days per week We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is critical in supporting the accurate and timely delivery of accounts payable and payroll functions, while contributing to effective month-end reporting in a fast-paced environment. About the Role This is a hands-on position responsible for purchase order monitoring, invoice processing, and full payroll function. You will play a key role in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across finance operations. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable, Financial Control & Office Support Manage invoice processing, matching, and coding with a strong focus on accuracy and control Ensure timely processing of invoices, accruals, and payment cycles Prepare and process payment runs (ABA files) in line with approval frameworks Reconcile supplier accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness Oversee purchase order compliance and identify/escalate financial control breaches Manage supplier relationships and respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders Provide backup support for bank, weekly A/R reconciliations, and cost of goods suppliers Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls Support general office administration as required Payroll Manage end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments Oversee rostering and timekeeping systems, including hours, attendance, and leave records in collaboration with site supervisors Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring full data integrity Perform payroll reconciliations and reporting Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Enterprise Agreement, and company policies Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries in a timely manner Continuously review payroll processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and control What Youll Bring Experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll within a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Solid organizational and communication skills Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements Ability to identify process improvements and work autonomously Proficiency in Excel and accounting/payroll systems (SAGE, ADP, TANDA preferred, not essential) A proactive, team-focused can-do attitude Why Join Us?
