Job Description

Lead fleet presentation, cleaning, and shunting operations for Sydney Trains driving customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and service innovation across the rollingstock fleet.In this role, you''ll:Provide strategic direction and leadership to fleet presentation functions and teams optimizing operational and people performance of cleaning, presentation, and shunting. Improve presentation and cleaning performance through staff performance, commercial cleaning inputs, and systems solutions with focus on innovation and change strategies.Lead presentation, cleaning, and shunting functions ensuring customer satisfaction and KPIs are met. Manage enterprise fleet shunting function enabling fleet positioning that facilitates service delivery and maintenance. Drive accountability ensuring outcomes meet Rail Services Contract specifications and TfNSW Train Station Presentation Standards.Lead and empower teams to deliver business outcomes, enhancing organizational and individual performance and capability. Provide strong leadership and coaching maintaining high standards of staff behaviour and performance. Manage finance functions providing timely, accurate reporting and advice.For more information on this position and business unit, please view the role description and information pack.About you: Contract & Workforce Management Sound experience with contract management, workforce principles, and quality management systems Large Team Leadership Substantial experience managing large, diverse teams with demonstrated business and people benefits Facilities Management Experience in presentation and/or cleaning services context including statutory compliance knowledge Continuous Improvement Track record driving innovation and transformation in service delivery Stakeholder Management Proven ability managing relationships with unions, contractors, and diverse stakeholders Financial Management Experience managing budgets and providing financial reporting and advice Relevant Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Project Management, Commerce, Quality Management, or equivalent experience Drive customer satisfaction through fleet presentation excellence and operational innovation.Who we areAt Sydney Trains, our rail services keep Sydney moving by putting our customers at the centre of everything we do.
