Registered Nurse - Emergency Department | Darwin, NT About the Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Department (ED) work in Darwin. The role requires strong emergency nursing skills across a variety of patient groups and settings. Requirements Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 8 Emergency Department experience Preferred experience in: Triage Resuscitation (Resus) Adult and Paediatric Emergency Care Tertiary Emergency / Group 2 - Consolidated Triage skills Ability to work in a fast-paced tertiary ED environment Strong clinical assessment, prioritisation, and teamwork skills Contract Details Role: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Start Date:07/05/2026 End Date: 6-12 weeks from commencement Nursing Level: RN Facility: Darwin State: Northern Territory Placement Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, up to 12 weeks On Call: As per roster Bed and Scope of the Hospital Emergency Department: 8 beds Tertiary-level ED environment with adults and paediatrics Accommodation & Additional Information To be confirmed based on hospital provisions Local support and orientation will be provided Fun Fact Darwin is the northernmost capital city in Australia, known for its tropical climate, multicultural community, and proximity to stunning natural attractions like Kakadu National Park.
