Due to continued growth we''ve now created multiple roles as Store Person to hit the ground running at our Gold Coast (Helensvale) location in the following shifts: AM: 4am-12pm, Monday to Friday PM: 12pm-8pm, Monday to Friday NIGHT: 8pm-4am, Sunday to Thursday There are overtime opportunities along with Saturday shifts available These will require your own ability to travel to work as there are limited public transport options available in the area at this time WHAT WE OFFER A full time permanent role - annual & family leave accrued from day one A dynamic work environment - get in, get it done and have fun Preset hours you can plan your life and family around Get paid weekly - Penalty rates apply for overtime hours and Saturday shifts Monthly staff appreciation lunches Innovative systems and software using iPads and Scanners You can make this role your own - career progression in the company is encouraged and supported Responsibilities Picking and packing orders - we service building contractors to home-owners and everyone in between - so no order is the same! Taking a proactive approach to quality control Receiving stock from our suppliers (from deliveries to our DC) Putting away and replenishing stock (into assigned areas of our DC) Operation of Forklift and related machinery Keep a clean and safe work site through ensuring rubbish (boxes, packing materials etc) are cleared into assigned areas Please note, this role contains repetitive manual handling tasks. Some heavy lifting is required. Required Knowledge and Skills: Be reliable with a proactive, positive and enthusiastic attitude Strong interpersonal skills and a clear ability to follow instructions Manual handling is a primary duty - Must be reasonably fit and be able to last for long periods on your feet As the duties are repetitive in nature, solid attention to detail is required Picker / Packer experience is an advantage A current forklift license (LO or LF) and demonstrated driving experience in your most current role is highly regarded Due to the immediate nature of the roles - we will only accept applications that hold full working rights in Australia This is an opportunity to be a part of exciting growth and expansion, cutting edge technology and tasks that promote personal and professional development.
