Working with our Production Teams, you will assist with the creating, processing and despatch of our amazing wines. Reporting to the Cellar Supervisor you will be responsible for: Vintage related tasks such as operating our crusher and press equipment Ensuring quality wine production through efficient performance of cellar operations tasks Contributing to the continuous improvement of cellar operations process and equipment operation outcomes General cellar including additions and transfers Clarification tasks including Centrifuge and Cross flow filtration operations Maintain good housekeeping practices, cleaning and other duties as required Active role in the Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental Sustainability and Food Safety compliance Completing confined spaces entry for oak removal etc. Vintage area team leader activities to support our casual team and ensure effective workflow Desired Skills and Experience Qualities, Qualifications and Experience: Essential Mechanical Aptitude and attention to detail Solid interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Ability to work to strict timeframes Literacy and Numeracy skills as well as ability to use computer-based technology and associated software Ability to work at heights which includes regular access to catwalks and climbing of stairs Desirable Proven experience in winery operations including the operation of Winery equipment and cellar operation tasks Certificate, diploma or degree in Winery Operations or related discipline Demonstrated leadership skills Forklift license Benefits that you will have access to working with our team are: Work in a positive environment that is passionate about wine Receive on the job training in Wine Production An environment that supports professional career growth Encouragement of teamwork, innovation, creativity and excellence Workplace flexibility including accrual of rostered days off Supporting our employees to achieve their best is part of our VIBE.
