About the Role/sWe are seeking Patient Support Assistants to join our team on a casual basis in delivering high-quality patient-centered care at our reputable independent private hospital. Our Housekeeping team plays a crucial role in providing exceptional care to patients . Your compassion, expertise and attention to detail will play a key role in providing a comfortable recovery process for our patients. Possessing the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team the purpose of this role is to deliver excellent care to our patients in a safe and effective manner. Key Responsibilities Engage in housekeeping tasks such as replacing linens on beds, cleaning patients rooms and wards. Provide catering services. Checks and organises rubbish and soiled linen ready for collection. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of PPE requirements. Maintains a safe and hygienic working environment. Essential Criteria Candidates must have relevant support assistant experience. Available to work evenings and weekends as and when required. Available for approximately 15-30 hours per week as required. Able to increase availability for leave cover as required. Demonstrated knowledge of food handling and hospitality procedures. Demonstrated interpersonal skills. Demonstrated customer service experience. Ability to work in a team environment and work independently. A professional attitude with excellent personal presentation. Valid national police check not older than 6 months. Have a current or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check. Australian work rights are required, with valid work visas acceptable on a case-by-case basis. Desired Criteria Certificate III or higher in relevant field.
