We are working with a well-established, Aboriginal-controlled organisation delivering large-scale investment and grant programs across the Northern Territory. With significant funding and a strong focus on self-determination, this organisation works directly with communities to drive long-term economic, social and cultural outcomes. We are seeking an Engagement Adviser to play a key role in connecting communities, organisations and stakeholders with meaningful opportunities. About the Role This is a relationship-driven role, working directly with communities across the Northern Territory, but with a strong commercial and program delivery lens. You will: Act as a key point of contact between the organisation and stakeholders, communities and businesses Build and maintain respectful, effective relationships across diverse cultural contexts Provide clear, practical guidance on funding opportunities and processes Support communities and organisations to understand and engage with investment and grant programs Facilitate workshops, meetings and engagement activities Gather insights to inform programs and investment priorities Identify opportunities for economic and community development About You You bring a strong understanding of working with Aboriginal communities, alongside the ability to think practically about outcomes, funding, and impact. You will bring: Strong relationship-building and communication skills Experience in community engagement, program delivery, grants or similar environments The ability to apply sound judgement when discussing funding, opportunities and priorities A level of business or commercial awareness, with an understanding of how programs translate into real outcomes Ability to navigate complex or sensitive situations Understanding of the Northern Territory context Requirements Relevant qualification or equivalent experience NT Drivers Licence Ochre Card and National Criminal History Check Willingness to travel to regional and remote locations To apply, please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and how it applies to the role.
