Workshop Trade Assistant Axis Laser is a privately owned and operated laser cutting and bending business based in Henderson WA. We utilise the latest fibre laser and automation technology to deliver on-time, high-quality solutions that support local manufacturing. With the recent addition of a new 15kW Bystronic fibre laser, we are expanding our production capacity and seeking a reliable Workshop Assistant to support our day shift operations. This is a hands-on role offering an immediate start within a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment. The RoleYou will support production operations across laser cutting and bending processes, assisting operators and ensuring efficient workflow through the workshop. Key responsibilities include: Assisting laser operators and press brake operators as required Loading and unloading sheet material and finished parts Sorting, packing and preparing jobs for dispatch Basic machine assistance and material handling Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment Supporting general production and workshop duties Adhering to HSEQ requirements and safe work practices About You Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication or workshop environment Current LF Forklift truck licence (required) Ability to follow instructions and work within a team Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physically capable of manual handling tasks Reliable, punctual and safety focused Why Join Us?
