Qualifications & Experience Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic Minimum 2 years experience post-trade Proven ability to work independently and manage workloads Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach Tasks & Responsibilities Work within a team of field service Fitters across Darwin, Palmerston, and rural/remote regions Carry out labour hire, remote work, and FIFO/DIDO assignments as required Perform repairs, maintenance, and rebuilds on trucks, mobile plant, forklifts, mining equipment, and other heavy machinery Diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs both in the field and workshop Order parts and complete job cards, service reports, and required documentation Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship, and presentation Benefits Flexible working arrangements with negotiable work rotations to suit lifestyles and holiday plans, in addition to paid annual leave and carers leave Competitive hourly rate A supportive and inclusive growing team, part of a community-focused, professional, and dynamic team!
