An exciting opportunity awaits in the Emergency Department at Cowra Health Service, a modern facility redeveloped following a $70.2 million investment by the NSW Government. Completed in 2025, the hospital now boasts state-of-the-art technology and contemporary clinical spaces designed to support high-quality patient care. We are eager for you to join us in shaping the future of rural health.This role is primarily based in the Emergency Department, with opportunities to rotate across other nursing areas within the facility as directed by your manager, offering variety and valuable professional development. Our purpose-built Emergency Department is a six-bed unit featuring a fully equipped resuscitation room, an isolation room, a safe assessment room and two consult rooms. Two nurses are rostered on every shift, supported by a 24/7 on-call doctor, ensuring you are never working alone. The department is led by an experienced Nurse Unit Manager who oversees daily operations and reports directly to the Nurse Manager, providing strong clinical leadership and support.You will have Emergency experience with credentials in triage desirable, with the ability and willingness to work shifts over a 24/7 rotating roster.Located in the Central West region of New South Wales, Cowra offers the perfect blend of professional fulfilment and lifestyle balance.
