About Northern Christian School Northern Christian School is a co-educational, independent Kindergarten Year 6 Christian school located in Bridgewater, with a current enrolment of 170 students. Northern is part of Christian Schools Tasmania. About you Christian Schools Tasmania requires Learning Support Aides who: Are committed and practising Christians who uphold the Associations Statement of Faith and philosophy, and is able to participate in all aspects of the Association; Have the knowledge, proven ability and vision necessary to meet the Key Objectives, Responsibilities and Duties of the position as outlined in the Position Description; Work collaboratively as one member of astrong and vibrant Christian culture across the school; Participate in the delivery of highest quality Christian education by intentionally partnering with teachers and parents in the nurture and education of all students; Demonstrate innovation and creativity to ensure highest quality teaching and learning opportunities for students in the twenty first century; Demonstrate and develop the large suite of organisational abilities that are required to undertake the challenging role of supporting teachers in a Christian school; Demonstrate highest standards of presentation, punctuality and professionalism. Preferred Requirements An ACECQA-approved certificate III level education and care qualification (e.g. Certificate III in School Based Education Support (CHC30221) or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121)) Experience or qualifications in learning needs preferred (particularly ASD) Provide First Aid
