Duties Ensures to remove uneven spots on vehicle panels Manually sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders Covering area not to be painted with tape and paper Selecting, missing, and matching colours to blend paint shades Using spray-guns to apply primer and finish coats and sanding surfaces between coats Doing paintwork, re-touch and applying polish to vehicles Final detailing finished paintwork by removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing Creating signs and artwork on vehicle Applying rust-proofing chemicals on vehicles Skill and Experience At least 3 years work experience as Vehicle Painter or closely related experience Relevant trade qualification Good English language skills Reading and interpreting specifications as required Familiarity with workshop machinery and their capabilities
