Were on the lookout for a part time Accounts Payable Officer who knows this role is about more than invoices and numbers. As part of our finance admin team, youll be trusted to keep the backofhouse running smoothly, accurately processing and paying invoices, supporting the wider business, and helping maintain the strong supplier relationships that keep our iconic South Australian brand cooking. Heres what it says on the jar: Youll be the engine behind our accounts payable function, accurately processing supplier invoices, matching them to purchase orders, coding correctly, and preparing timely payment files. Youll ensure supplier relationships run smoothly by reconciling supplier statements, credit cards, and manual payments, and maintaining accurate supplier records and credit applications. Youll support smooth financial close cycles by assisting with monthend and yearend tasks, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting as required. Youll manage ExpenseMe endtoend, ensuring employee expenses are processed, reconciled, and paid accurately within required timeframes. Youll provide dependable daytoday support to the business, including stationery ordering and general administrative assistance when needed. Youll be a champion of best practice, identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable processes while ensuring compliance with all Beerenberg policies and procedures. Now, for your own ingredients list. Youll be the right person for this role if you: Bring proven Accounts Payable experience and know exactly what processed, reconciled and approved really means. Are impressively fluent in MS Office and accounting systems, clicking through spreadsheets and finance software like its second nature. Available to work 27.5hours/week, Monday to Friday, with schoolhours availability and flexibility to cover leave when required. Have a lasersharp eye for detail, spotting errors faster than most people spot a typo in an email subject line. Play well with others, communicating clearly and building easy, respectful relationships with teammates, suppliers and stakeholders. Stay organised and unflappable when deadlines collide, tackling challenges with practical problemsolving and lateral thinking. Show up with a proactive, cando attitude, enthusiastic, handson and always willing to pitch in to help the team succeed.
