Job Info Location: CORA LYNN, VIC Salary: Award Job Type: Contract position | Casual position Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION Farm Production Worker JOB TYPE: Casual minimum 30 hours SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: The worker will report directly to the Farm owners MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with planting, growing, harvesting and packaging of crops as instructed. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures Other tasks as directed. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications: No qualifications required. Driver''s licence desirable Experience: Verifiable work history in Horticulture industry is desirable but not essential Skills: Ability and willingness to follow basic verbal instructions to ensure worker safety and quality of produce at all times. Physical stamina to complete repetitive tasks as required. Tasks include bending, twisting, lifting. Long periods of sitting, standing or crouching can also be required. Resilience to work in all weather conditions. Willingness and ability to cooperate with all other team members. PERFORMANCE GOALS: Complete allocated tasks in a timely and safe manner ensuring that the quality of produce is maintained. Ensure that the produce is handled carefully at all times and in all conditions. Ensure that Work Instructions are followed to ensure worker safety and quality of produce. Report observed hazards or near misses around the farm to prevent the occurrence of incidents. Ensure produce is picked, bunched, graded and packed to meet the required specification at all times. Work as a part of a team to meet targets. Job Types: Casual, Short term Ability to commute/relocate: Please note that the farm is not accessible via public transport so you will require your own reliable transport.
