Ignite Community Services is a disability organisation that has a strong sense of person-centered support with an emphasis on family. We offer a range of supports, both the traditional types and new ones, all based around a person''s needs. We are currently seeking female (participant request) support workers to provide 1:1 care for a lady in her own home in Southport. For this role, you will need to: Have relevant experience and qualifications in disability support Be able to prepare and cook meals Have experience administering medication Be motivated and engaged during shifts, providing active support Be comfortable working in a home where CCTV is in use Demonstrate the ability to balance patience with appropriate firmness, communicating clearly and respectfully at all times Have a roadworthy fully insured vehicle for transporting - You will be paid KM We are looking for people who are willing and able to work a range of shifts, are flexible, reliable and committed to making a difference in the lives of the people we support. What we need from you! Blue and yellow card - Or national worker screening check Ability to work a rotating roster including sleepovers Flexible to fill shifts where people maybe on holidays or sick outside of your roster The want and drive to make a difference in people''s lives Minimum Cert III What we will give you : SCHADS award 2.1 -Casual. Full training and induction $80 sleepover allowance Support and ongoing training as needed *Applications to remain in our pipeline for up to 12 months
