Be the first point of contact in a professional office environment We are looking for a friendly and organised Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our Administrative Support Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people while supporting a busy office with essential administrative tasks. About the Role You will be the face and voice of the business, welcoming clients and managing front office communications, while also assisting with project administration and document handling. Key Responsibilities Reception Duties: Answer incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriately Welcome visitors and assist with front desk enquiries Manage incoming and outgoing communications Administrative Support: Assist with document collection, scanning, and filing Maintain project records in the Building Certification System (BCS) Liaise with clients, designers, builders, and Council staff Process project documentation including Start Works Notices General office duties including photocopying and binding About You Essential: Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional manner High attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and adapt to new tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Desirable: Previous reception or office administration experience Interest in working in a professional office environment About Us We are a Hobart-based business specialising in building compliance and certification, working closely with industry professionals and local councils.
