Empire Couriers is a locally owned and operated business based in Glenorchy, Tasmania, with 5 depots across Tasmania and Victoria. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service and that starts with strong leadership behind the scenes. As our 3PL operations continue to grow, were looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead from the front and build a high-performing team. About the Role: As our 3PL Warehouse Manager, youll be responsible for: Leading day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of over 5000 m2 of warehousing over multiple sites.Managing multiple 3PL client accounts and ensuring service levels are consistently metSupervising, training, and motivating warehouse staffOperating a forklift as part of daily operations (hands-on role)Driving process improvements and maintaining efficient workflowsOverseeing inventory control and stock accuracyCoordinating with drivers and courier teams to ensure smooth dispatchMaintaining a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment What Were Looking For: Strong leadership and team management experience in a warehouse environment Hands-on approach willing to get involved on the floor when neededStrong commitment to safety and workplace standardsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingReliable, organised, and solutions-focusedPrevious 3PL or logistics experience highly regarded Valid forklift licence essential Location: Glenorchy, Tasmania (warehouse-based role) Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)Some flexibility may be required depending on operational demands What We Offer: Stable employment with a respected and growing local companyOpportunity to take ownership of a 3PL operation and make a real impactSupportive, hardworking team environmentCareer growth opportunities as the business expands Leadership.
