Bus Stop Inspector (Part-Time)Locations: Darwin, Palmerston & Rural AreasHours: Part-time Monday to Wednesday, 7:00am to 4:00pm We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bus Stop Auditor to undertake regular inspections of bus stop infrastructure across Darwin, Palmerston and surrounding rural areas. This role involves travelling to allocated locations, inspecting bus stops, identifying defects and accurately recording condition data in line with agreed inspection standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect bus stops across allocated routes and regions Identify and record defects, including but not limited to: Minor and major cleaning requirements Damaged or missing timetables Graffiti and vandalism requiring removal or repair General condition and safety issues Accurately record inspection data using provided systems (tablet/mobile device or forms) Take clear photographic evidence where required Ensure inspections are completed efficiently and in accordance with schedules Communicate any urgent defects or safety issues promptly About You High attention to detail and strong observational skills Comfortable working independently in the field Good written communication and basic digital literacy Ability to follow inspection processes and reporting requirements Reliable, punctual and well organised Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle (essential) Desirable (but not essential) Previous experience in inspections, auditing, asset management or maintenance Familiarity with mobile data collection systems Knowledge of public infrastructure or facilities maintenance What We Offer Part-time, consistent hours (3 days per week fixed days Mon/Tue/Wed each week) Autonomous field-based role Training and clear inspection guidelines provided Opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and presentation of public transport infrastructure If you are practical, methodical and enjoy working independently outdoors, we encourage you to apply.
