In this role, you''ll: Work as part of a team delivering the School Crossing Program by coordinating the work undertaken by the School Crossing Supervisors to ensure that the Program is delivered to the required standards and objectives. This role involves a variety of duties from being the local point of contact for both the community, councils, school principals, police and all the school crossing supervisors in your region. You will be overseeing the work of the School Crossing Supervisors which includes site visits, rostering, performance management, recruitment, managing incidents, conducting investigations, and building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders. There is a high level of computing skills required including the use of information management systems, databases and spreadsheets with the ability to monitor and report on program outputs. You will oversee, organise, and mentor school crossing supervisors who are dispersed across large geographical area around Newcastle. This role will be based in Newcastle, and you will be required to travel including overnight travel to a range of locations.
