ECEC Workforce Worker Retention Payment The Role We have a variety of full time roles available at Oz Education Wyong: Full time Cert III Educator Full time Diploma Educator Required Qualifications & Desired Skills Working towards or hold a Cert III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education Valid Working with Children Check National Police Check Current Children Protection, First Aid & CPR certificate Developing knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards Ability to form positive rapport with all children, families, management and educators Ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and educators Child Safety Commitment We are a child-safe organisation committed to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children. Applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settings. Essential Requirements Current Child Protection Training A demonstrated understanding of child protection and safeguarding responsibilities in early childhood settings Knowledge of mandatory reporting obligations and relevant child protection legislation Understanding of professional boundaries and appropriate behaviours when working with children Ability to identify and respond to indicators of abuse, harm, or neglect Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements relating to children and families Experience implementing child-safe policies and procedures Applicants will be required to undergo comprehensive background checks, including: Working With Children Check National Police Check Verification of qualifications Professional reference checks Employment is conditional upon satisfactory clearance of all child safety screening requirements.
