The Investment Delivery Authority (IDA) has been established to facilitate major projects ($1bn plus) from the private sector and identify reforms to boost competition and productivity in NSW.As Associate Director, Strategy and Coordination, you will lead the Secretariat function responsible for setting the agenda, pulling together clear and balanced briefing materials, and making sure decisions are properly captured and followed through. You will maintain a strong understanding of emerging issues and trends across both public and private sectors, locally and globally, to ensure advice is relevant and responsive to changing conditions and sector-specific challenges.To learn more about the role please review the Role Description.We''re Looking ForStrategic governance & secretariat leadership: lead secretariat and governance processes, agenda setting, briefing packs and clear records to enable timely decisions. You will have exceptional attention to detail, ability to work calmly under pressure and experience in cross sector coordination. Stakeholder & issues management: build trusted relationships across agencies to manage sensitive issues and drive resolution in contested settings.Executive communication & representation: proven ability to deliver high quality, evidence-based advice on complex and sensitive issues and represent the Department in a variety of forums.
