Hillgrove Resources is on the hunt for a qualified Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to support our operations at the Kanmantoo Copper Mine. Job Description About Hillgrove Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) is a growing ASX-listed Australian copper producer with its heart in South Australia. Located in the majestic Adelaide Hills, only 55km from the Adelaide CBD, Hillgrove has operated since 2005 and completed open-pit mining at Kanmantoo in 2020. In 2023 we commenced development of our underground mine and in 2024 completed our transition to underground copper production. Our operation is well capitalised with a 33.6Mtpa processing plant, with permitted surface infrastructure in place. Hillgrove is also testing the next suite of high-potential targets. In addition to the Kanmantoo operation, we have a large land holding of granted Exploration Licences in South-eastern South Australia, which are highly prospective for the discovery of economic copper deposits within a variety of geological settings (South Eastern Copper Project). Hillgrove supplies critical minerals for a sustainable future, backed by long-standing environmental stewardship and strong stakeholder relationships. About the Role Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, the maintenance mechanical fitter is a key player in delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective mechanical maintenance. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned and unplanned maintenance with safety top of mind Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, improving equipment reliability and uptime Work closely with Processing, Metallurgy, Mining, and Engineering teams Follow Hillgroves governance, safety, and sustainability policies Support lean process improvements and review Safe Work Instructions Contribute to team capability through active participation and performance reviews About You Youre a safety-focused and results-driven tradesperson with strong initiative, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement. Known for your collaborative approach and strong organisational skills, you communicate effectively and work well across teams. You take ownership of your work, maintain compliance with safety standards, and thrive in dynamic environments where you can make a real impact. What youll need: Essential: Trade qualified Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering Current Drivers Licence Working at Heights, Confined Space Desirable: Crane, Dogging, Rigging, and Scissor Lift Licences Overhead Gantry Crane experience Telescopic Handler ticket Senior First Aid certification Experience with SkyTrust, ERP Pulse Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficient mathematical and computer-based skills Strategic organisational skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines Why Hillgrove?
