Fully qualified Electroplater or minimum 3 years work experience Hardchrome Engineering in Pakenham Our growing engineering company, located in a new purpose-built facility in Pakenham, is seeking to hire a Full Time Electroplater. About the Role: As an Electroplater, you will receive hands-on training and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the field. Key Requirements: Sandblasting parts to be electroplated Preparing surfaces for plating, including cleaning Determine and select the appropriate metal and solutions for each plating process, to ensure the desired outcome achieved for the material being plated Masking areas of parts not to be electroplated Maintain electroplating equipment to ensure its functionality Use a variety of power tolls including angle grinders Operate plating equipment, including setting up, operating and tending to machines Monitor the plating process to ensure quality and consistency, addressing any issues that may arise Maintain a safe and clean working environment Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed What We Offer: Modern, well-equipped workshop in a new facility Opportunities for career growth and development If you''re ready to begin your career in engineering, apply today!
