A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months Competitive remuneration ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 plus super & annual leave loading. The Department is seeking a Technical Support Officer to join our established Infrastructure team, responsible for the ongoing operational support of a large-scale Edge Server, UPS and associated infrastructure solutions servicing NSW public schools.This role plays a vital part in maintaining the operational health, stability and performance of edge services that directly support classroom technology across the state. You will manage and coordinate the timely resolution of business-as-usual (BAU) incidents, proactively monitor service performance, and collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure high levels of service availability, resilience and reliability.We are looking for a technically capable and enthusiastic professional who communicates clearly and is eager to further develop their skills within a complex infrastructure environment. Demonstrated operational experience supporting edge server environments and UPS infrastructure. Sound understanding of operational processes, monitoring tools, and structured service implementation methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build, manage and maintain effective stakeholder relationships. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the DepartmentsAboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Departments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience. Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalue of public education.
