We play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, accessible and reliable land and property data that supports government, industry and the community.Our integrated service framework connects the people of NSW to a comprehensive suite of land and property solutions including property information, surveying, and mapping enabling smarter decision-making and better outcomes for the state.We deliver land information services to individuals, businesses, government agencies and non-profit organisations across NSW, throughout Australia and internationally.About the roleThe Senior Application Developer will be responsible for planning, creating, testing, troubleshoot and documenting newand amended software application components. Your expertise will be crucial in hands on development, troubleshoot, providing technical mentoring,support, advice, and assistance in resolving software and data related issues. You will also guide teammembers in developing effective solutions.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:The Ability to design, enhance or troubleshoot applications and services to manage spatial and associateddata, integrating with on-premises and cloud-based systems.Proven experience in analysing and translating business requirements into workable technicalsolutionsAbility to undertake administration, testing and deployment of applications utilising agile methodologiesDemonstrated experience collaborating with team members, other business units and agenciesto deliver consistent, business-aligned solutions based on shared knowledge and understandingAbility to understand complex processes and information workflows and show initiative tosupport the broader operationsand business requestDemonstrated experience in the following:Web application design and development including server-side APIs (preferably utilising NodeJSor Python) and client-side UIs (utilising HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and/or react framework)Experience in ESRI Enterprise platform particularly in Rest API, Custom widget development, Experience builder, webhooks, metadata container & standardIn the role of Senior Developer, you will collaborate with various teams that utilise a range of ITsystems to achieve their objectives.
