About the role Optical Superstore is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team in Shellharbour NSW 2529 and Nowra NSW 2541. This casual role with a view of full time being a possibility is an excellent opportunity to work in an established and growing Optical retail business, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. What you''ll be doing Assisting customers with frame selection and providing recommendations to meet their individual needs Processing sales transactions and handling cash,card and Hiccaps payments Maintaining a clean and organised store environment Restocking and organising product displays Answering customer inquiries and providing information about our products and services Supporting the Optical team with administrative tasks as required Learning basic Optics What we''re looking for Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, ideally within the optical industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of optical products and terminology Enthusiastic and friendly personality with a passion for the optical industry A person is is able to work individually or in a team A great multi tasker An availability from Mondays to Saturdays.
