Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or foreman role, leading teams on-site or in a workshop environment. Sound knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and fault-finding techniques. Proven leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage team performance. Build lasting relationships with customers through excellent service and follow-up Excellent understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate work schedules to meet deadlines and project targets. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise with clients, technicians, and management. Competency in basic computer applications (e.g. Automotive management software, reporting tools, Microsoft Office). Qualifications: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology Valid Drivers Licence (manual preferred) and reliable transportation Motor Vehicle Repairers Licence (required in NSW to run or supervise a workshop) Pink and Blue slip certificates ( desired and/ or are willing to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a passion for helping customers Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment A genuine interest in vehicles and the automotive industry At Nowra Motors we believe in building long-term relationships with both our customers and our team.
