Join Happy Hounds as an Independent Dog Walker & Pet Sitter! Are you confident handling pets of different sizes and personalities, and looking for flexible and independant work? Happy Hounds is seeking independent subcontractors to provide dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting services across the Gold Coast! This opportunity is ideal for independent, self-motivated individuals who want to make their own schedule and take pride in their work. While caring for adorable pets is incredibly rewarding, it also comes with responsibilityour pet carers must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of handling pets and homes with care. Every day brings new adventures, challenges, and the joy of making a real difference in pets'' and owners'' lives. This is a sub-contractor position (super included). Please note that the job is not limited to this area. We service most areas of the GC, so you don''t have to be situated in the suburb listed above. SERVICES PROVIDED Dog Walking: 30-60 minute walks in the dogs neighborhood, at the beach, or in the park (max 2 dogs at a time). Pet Sitting: 30-60 minute daily visits to care for dogs, cats, and small animals. House Sitting: Overnight stays in clients'' homes to care for pets while their owners are away. WHO WE PARTNER WITH Sub-contractors that work with us are: Passionate animal lovers with experience handling pets. Great communicators who can build relationships with clients. Responsible and highly reliablepet owners trust us with their furry family members! Confident handling medium to large breed dogs with different behavioural tendencies, including reactivity and over excitement. Active and happy to travel between client locations. Able to work independently and use good judgment in various situations. May already offer other pet-related services or run their own pet business.
