The Role An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse (Central Sterilising Services Department) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Implement and monitor quality standards according to AS5369:2023 Coordinate and plan workflow in the Loans department of Central Sterilising Services Have a working knowledge of the Instrument Tracking System in use Provide clinical support to mitigate troubleshooting issues in regard to loan equipment About you To be successful in this position you will require: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Permanent part time (64 hrs p.f.) Base salary ranging from $57.48 - $61.55 per hour About Us The Central Sterilisation Service within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) is provided by three main facilities at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH), Robina, and Varsity Lakes. These three state of the art Central Sterilising Departments (CSD) service 29 operating theatres as well as 3 Endoscopy suites, wards and Oral Health.
