About the Role: As Director, Placemaking and People, you will lead the delivery of social, cultural, creative and placemaking initiatives that help establish and activate Bradfield City, one of Australias most significant citybuilding programs. The role shapes inclusive, distinctive and sustainable places that deliver longterm social and economic value for Western Sydney. You will lead a portfolio of complex projects, programs and partnerships, working collaboratively across the Bradfield Development Authority and with government, industry and community stakeholders. A key focus is bestpractice engagement with diverse communities, including First Nations peoples, multicultural communities and the creative sector, to embed culturally safe, codesigned place outcomes. Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy and Development, you will provide strategic advice at executive level, lead a highperforming specialist team, and ensure strong governance, financial management and delivery across multiple initiatives. For more information read the full Role Description:Director Placemaking and People About you You are a senior leader with demonstrated experience delivering city making or city building outcomes, particularly across social, cultural, creative or placemaking portfolios. You bring strong strategic judgement and the ability to navigate complex, highprofile environments to achieve public value. You excel at building trusted relationships and influencing across government, industry and community, with a proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and communities in inclusive, culturally safe ways. You are an accomplished people leader who inspires direction and purpose, builds capability and upholds high standards of integrity and accountability. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, together with experience delivering placebased initiatives that create positive longterm outcomes, will support your success in this role. Essential requirements Tertiary qualifications ina related discipline(planning,arts, social planning, design, place making/management or a related discipline). Demonstrated experience in driving the people aspects of city building and/orcity makingdelivering positive short and long-termplace-basedsocial and economic outcomes.
