About the Opportunity Mitchell Shire is changing fast. Were looking for a skilled Traffic and Road Safety Coordinator who can lift consistency, strengthen standards and help keep our community moving safely. In this role, youll coordinate Councils traffic and road safety work from development referrals to network safety, transport planning and asset standards. Youll work closely with planners, engineers, VicRoads, developers and the community to deliver practical, compliant and defensible outcomes. This isnt just a technical role. Its about shaping better decisions, clearer processes and safer streets for everyone who lives, works and travels in Mitchell. What youll do Coordinate the Traffic and Road Safety Teams work program and priorities Provide high-quality, timely and consistent traffic engineering advice Guide development referrals and safety treatments in line with relevant standards Strengthen processes, templates and evidence-based decision-making Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners This role is a permanent full-time opportunity with aMonthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $119.2K to $133.3K (Band 8) plus superannuation.
