About us Stirling Community Early Learning Centre is a Not For Profit Child Care Centre. We are nestled in the beautiful Adelaide hills catering for up 54 children per day. The Centre has a low sugar, no added salt diet and caters for dietary needs including preferences, allergies and intolerances. We have a minimum waste approach and left over foods are composted back into the garden. We have a lovely community of families, children and educators. Qualifications & experience Food handling certificate and experience WWCC required Cooking qualification desirable but not essential Experience cooking for children Established time management skills Australian work rights are required for this position Tasks & responsibilities Preparation of Lunch and Morning/Afternoon Tea for the children Working with the existing menu & be involved in developing seasonal menus Dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties Reading and implementing the Centre Food Safety Plan Ordering and purchasing of food supplies Basic documentation of temperatures, heating, menus, etc as per food safety requirements.
