The SCHN-Aboriginal Population Health Trainee will complete a three-year traineeship as part of the NSW Aboriginal Population Health Training Initiative. This will involve placement within the health service (SCHN) and part-time study towards a Master of Public Health degree at a NSW-based university.What you''ll be doingThe SCHN-Aboriginal Population Health Trainee will complete a three-year traineeship as part of the NSW Aboriginal Population Health Training Initiative. This will involve placement within the health service (SCHN) and part-time study towards a Master of Public Health degree at a NSW-based university.The NSW Aboriginal Population Health Training Initiative (APHTI) is an ongoing program that commenced in 2011 and is delivered in partnership between the NSW Ministry of Health and the population health services (in this case, the SCHN) across NSW.The APHTI is a three-year training program comprising part-time study towards a Master of Public Health in conjunction with employment in the population health services of a NSW health service.
