Together, you''ll influence the future landscape of the State''s social insurance and care schemes while tackling current challenges headon. Reporting line Reporting to the Executive Director in the Commercial Group, you will work closely with senior executives to support Ministers and Government on complex insurance, care and reform priorities. Operating environment This role operates in a complex, highprofile reform environment, requiring strong judgement, resilience and the ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities and manage sensitive stakeholder issues, while delivering highquality, timely advice to Government. Strategic Impact:Provide strategic advice that directly influences Government policy decisions and reform directions. Stakeholder Engagement:Engage with senior stakeholders across government, industry, community and unions. Reform and Innovation:Identify and champion reform opportunities across social insurance and care arrangements. Financial Oversight:Oversee the financial performance of iCare, ensuring accountability to Government. How you will create a positive impact for the people of NSW Policy Leadership: Lead policy, strategy and legislative reform for icare and workers compensation. Strategic Frameworks: Apply commercial, economic, budgetary and regulatory policy frameworks to drive reform. Expert Advice: Provide authoritative advice on emerging risks and opportunities to support informed decision Stakeholder Engagement: Represent Treasury on interagency committees and working groups. Influential Communication: Communicate with influence to build consensus on complex and sensitive issues. Leadership and Development: Lead, manage and develop staff to ensure high performance and resilience.
